
Simcoe Contemporary Dancers is a not-for-profit professional company by and for the region of Simcoe County that exists to encourage and showcase the development of local professional contemporary dance. We come together to raise the visibility of contemporary dance, create awareness, build educational opportunities, and reach out to our public to share our love of our art form.

Simcoe Contemporary Dancers is proud to present Dusk Dances Barrie!
Taking place for the first time at Lampman Lane Park Thursday August 17 to Sunday August 20 with free dance workshops nightly beginning at 6:00pm, followed by live music from reggae band TooNice and Pay What You Can dance performances at 7:00pm!
Produced in partnership with Dusk Dances Inc. and made possible in part the Government of Canada and the City of Barrie, audience members will enjoy a guided tour throughout the park leading them to eclectic, site-specific dance works from acclaimed national and local dance artists.
Audience members are invited to bring their own blankets / chairs.Suggested donation is $10.
