Make a holiday memory

It's time once again for SCD's annual holiday performances. This year we are offering a new workshop component, with the opportunity for members of the community to work with members of SCD to create and share a dance piece with the audience. What better way to celebrate the holidays than in community with our neighbours creating and expressing ourselves through movement? No dance experience is necessary and all ages are welcome. We simply ask that participants under the age of ten be accompanied by a participating adult.

For those familiar with our usual roster of holiday dances, you're in for something new as well.
"We've shifted the tone of our holiday line up this year, to hone in on pieces that highlight togetherness and support for one another," said Artistic and Executive Director, Sarah Lochhead. "Yes, the holidays are a time for celebration and joy. This year's choice of repertoire celebrates the triumphs of the human spirit, working together, and hope."

Mark you calendars and make a holiday memory with us.
