About Our Classes:

Our classes are open to teens and adults.
*Age exemptions are considered on a case by case basis and are based on support/recommendation of the student's current dance instructor*

Our classes are primarily Limón-based and consist of  floor-work, centre practice, travelling work and movement combinations.

Classes are most often instructed by our Executive Director - Sarah Lochhead whose goal is to "... engage students in physically and developmentally appropriate technique classes that encourage individual expression, foster curiosity, embrace a sense of community and challenge them towards excellence."

What participants of our class might be overheard saying:

  • "I am a pre-professional/professional dancer or dance instructor and I have been eager to take a class that will push me not only technically but artistically."
  • "I am home for the holidays from a post secondary dance program and need to stay in shape for my courses."
  • "I have had several years of dance training and have had some experience with modern or contemporary dance."
  • "I danced all through childhood but haven't taken a dance class in a really long time. I'm eager to get back to dance in a supportive encouraging environment."
  • "I have taken a variety of dance styles but never any modern or contemporary dance."
  • "I really like Groove, NIA, Yoga and Pilates. I have a keen awareness of my body and I am looking for a challenge."
