In process: Woven (Post 1 - Carly Manuel)

Prepping for our first 'big show' has been an absolute blast! It is so exciting to finally be able to put together something that just seems to be falling into place! Each solo, which were all very different to begin with, all have these subtle similarities which were not fully realized until we had the opportunity to present them to one another. With each new solo, a new path was created which we were able to piece together to make a story.

The solo in which I am dancing has been on quite a journey! Over a year of work has been put into it! However, every rehearsal for this piece was well needed as Sarah and I were able to discover just how much this piece has to offer! It has changed so much since the beginning but every time we presented it in its new form, it fit so well with each performance. I feel it may always be a piece that is always evolving and ever changing but at the same time, remains the same in it's strength and message.
