Be moved by Ballet Creole

Ballet Creole is coming to Orillia this Friday - January 21st.


Not only will they be performing but they are also offering two FREE movement workshops!

The Orillia Opera House in partnership with The Ontario Arts Council is pleased to bring you Ballet Creole. Celebrating 20 years of forging new territories and new pathways for Blacks in dance in Canada, Ballet Creole is committed to presenting diverse contemporary dance expressions drawing inspiration from African and Caribbean traditions.



Performance: 7:30 p.m. Adults $15.00, Students $5.00 (Additional $1.13 per ticket when purchased online)


Workshops: 12:30 p.m. and 1:45 p.m. Free of charge


If you are a member of the professional teaching community or have a dance or movement background please register for the 12:30 p.m. workshop; this experience is sure to challenge and excite individuals interested in broadening their understanding of movement for the purposes of teaching and performing.


If you have never danced before, but have always wanted to try - please register for the 1:45 p.m. workshop. This class will cater to individuals seeking a new experience involving physicality and wonderful music.

Regardless of your knowledge of dance, don't miss the opportunity to spend time with these incredible artists.
