CORPUS coming to a mall near you!

Hot off its highly successful tours to Syracuse, New York, and Yellowknife, NWT, CORPUS brings three of its most celebrated performances to seven shopping malls across Ontario.

The critically acclaimed Toronto-based dance/theatre company will perform in Orillia, at the Orillia Square, May 7-8, 2010.

“At CORPUS, we have a long tradition of presenting our work in unusual settings. We’re always looking for unsuspected venues,” says David Danzon, CORPUS’ Artistic Director. “Shopping malls have become a central gathering place for members of small communities. With this unique project, we hope to surprise audiences and put a twist on their shopping experience.”

Under the artistic leadership of David Danzon, CORPUS’ acclaimed brand of theatrical movement infused with surrealist humour has garnered public and critical acclaim.

CORPUS will perform Les moutons, A Flock of Flyers and Le Grand Peep Show at the mall and will interact with audiences following the performances. The Simcoe Contemporary Dancers, lead by Artistic Director Sarah Lochhead, will also perform at at
