Local arts advocacy - a great New Year's resolution

As we begin our new year, it's common to reflect on the year past.

In response to an earlier article in the Barrie Advance (from the December 3rd issue page 1), Damian Lopez of the Barrie Arts Advisory Committee emailed an open letter. Click here to read (uploaded as a Google doc for easy reading)

Early this week, Robert Newby, President of Onstage Performance Group sent a letter template put together by the Downtown Theatre Advisory Committee to contact your local Councillors in support of the proposed theatre at the five points.
