In process: Untitled - water piece (post 1 - Brittany-Brie D'Amico)

As we dance our new "water" piece there are many differences in the movement, but have you ever seen water move the same way twice? When waves crash against the rocks an shore, does the water splash the same way every time? I don't believe it does.

Each raindrop that falls from the sky contributes it's self to the water in the ocean very much like a dancers contributing their own style and skills to the stage and a company. Without each individual raindrop the ocean wouldn't be as big or complete. It is each dancer's individuality that allows our company to deliver a gestalt performance.

It isn't always the final product that matters most - it is the journey in which one invests their time, dedication and patience that makes the outcome worth while. The process - an enjoyable time, a time where development and experiment are key.
