

Simcoe Contemporary Dancers is a not-for-profit professional company by and for the region of Simcoe County that exists to encourage and showcase the development of local professional contemporary dance. We come together to raise the visibility of contemporary dance, create awareness, build educational opportunities, and reach out to our public to share our love of our art form.

In process: Betty's Bench (post 3 - Sarah Lochhead)
What’s the deal with modern dance pieces on benches? Why do the two go together so well? Betty is not as serious or painfully grieving as in Martha Graham’s Lamentation (1930). Now I am interested in searching You Tube to watch it while playing Dinah Washington’s track … just for fun.
